Daniel Knauf was the creator and head writer of the cult hit Carnivale before moving on to head the team behind the Dracula TV series and now is the coexecutive producer of the network hit The Blacklist. Dan and I are good friends and I like to have him on to talk about the craft of writing, to get my own advice but to also get advice for all aspiring writers out there. In this talk Dan tells the story of how he broke into TV writing in his forties and the tips he has for everyone out there with a dream and a manuscript. Good, insightful stuff with one of the best storytellers out there.
